Mark Cassimatis, Practice Manager

I am the newest addition to Quitman Animal Clinic. I am married to my best friend, Kristen, and we have six four legged “children”: our two horses Angel and Dixie; three dogs Haley, Dart and Lydia; and one very high maintenance cat named Feed Me Feed Me Now or FMFMN for short! Kristen and I are wild about our Rocky Mountain Horse “Angel” — she is the smartest horse in the world (but a little aloof)! Dixie, our Tennessee Walking Horse, is quite the opposite — she is a 1,200 pound “lap” horse! She needs to be coddled, petted and otherwise stroked.

We love training and riding horses. It is the whole reason we moved to East Texas. We just put our heart and soul into building a new home and we were involved in every aspect of its design. We are thrilled to be living among the oaks and pines on sandy soil. Kristen’s father is a veterinarian, which is how I got into the veterinary field. I worked for him for 13 years before coming to Quitman.

I am so excited to be a part of Quitman Animal Clinic. Dr. Bennett and all the staff practice the high quality medicine that I have grown accustomed to while working with my father-in-law. I look forward to serving everyone and their pets here in Quitman as the new Practice Manager.
