Misty Harrell, Reception
I have been an employee with the Quitman Animal Clinic since November of 2004. My primary position is as the front desk receptionist. I live in Winnsboro with my daughter, MaKayla. My huge love for pets started as a child and inspired me to work where I am today. In college I focused my studies on Animal Health, working at a dairy to pay for gas and expenses. Soon after college I went to work for Pilgrim Pride Corporate as a Laboratory Technician. There, I worked quality assurance on raw chicken products and byproducts, as well analyzing specimens for e-coli and salmonella. My time in the corporate world and my studies in college helped increase my interest in the animal health field and I’m proud to be where I am today.
I spend most of my time when not working with my family and doing anything I can that involves being outside. I can’t stand to be indoors when the weather is good and my favorite things are baseball and fishing. I have two pets: Jack, a 3 yr old Jack Russell /Rat Terrier mix and Frisco, my cat. Both were acquired after I joined the clinic.
My time at the Quitman Animal Clinic has been fun and inspiring. The clients and patients drive our thoughts for practice success and will continue to do so in the future. I hope when clients come in the door they are met with a warm welcome, so that they feel that they will be taken care of by us.
